Former 19th overall pick Josh Norris was looking pretty good with what appears to be a rejuvenated Ottawa Senators so far this season. Unfortunately, the 23-year-old, who had a career season in 2021-22, has received some bad news following an afternoon game against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday.

Norris seemed to go down in a heap during a faceoff and was favouring his left arm as he left the game. He went down the tunnel and was clearly not pleased, slamming his stick and making what seemed like a kicking motion at an unknown object.
It's since been revealed that Norris will require an MRI "as soon as the swelling goes down", according to Sportsnet Insider Elliotte Friedman. That doesn't sound like good news. Norris appears to have injured his wrist or arm on the seemingly minor play. You can check out video of the incident below. No timeline for a return right now as team doctors collect more information.
