It's been a rough start to the 2022-23 season for Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller. In Vancouver's two games thus far, Miller has been on the ice for all eight of their goals allowed along with recording a goal and an assist.

After Saturday's loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, Miller told reporters that he's frustrated with how he's been playing recently and that he feels like he's irrelevant.

"I've been on for all eight f------ goals (against)," Miller said. "Pretty frustrated."

He added, "I'm just disappointed. I'm not trying to make this about me, but I'm not going to sit here and talk about how bad we played when I can't even lead by example right now. ... I feel like I'm a little irrelevant and being on the ice for every goal, I don't know what to say."

The 29-year-old signed a seven-year contract extension with the Canucks on September 2nd worth $56 million ($8 million AAV), which will kick in for the 2023-24 season.

Miller and the Canucks will look to avoid an early-season three-game losing streak when they take on the Washington Capitals on Monday at 7 p.m. ET.
