Jeez, Brett, tell us how you really feel! NHL legend Brett Hull eviscerated Nazem Kadri of the Colorado Avalanche in a new interview. Hull was asked his thoughts on dirty hits in the NHL while appearing on the latest episode of the Cam & Stick Podcast. Hull did not hold back in an answer that veered off into how much he dislikes Kadri.

"It's still crazy to me how there's still idiots who still hit people from behind or elbow people in the head," said Hull. "Are you stupid? God!"
"Like Kadri. He may have cost the [Toronto Maple] Leafs the Stanley Cup, and he certainly screwed the Avalanche over the year before they won it last year," said Hull, referring to Kadri's suspensions in the post season over his career. "He keeps getting suspended for stupid things. I mean, he's an idiot!"
Hull likely comes by his hatred of Kadri honestly. He spent the better part of his playing career with the St. Louis Blues and currently serves as the team's Executive Vice President. The Blues and Avs have developed a rivalry, and Kadri was heavily criticized by Blues fans in last year's playoffs when he collided with St. Louis goaltender Jordan Binnington, knocking him out of their playoff series. There was no penalty on the play and no suspension as officials felt that Blues' defenseman Calle Rosen had pushed Kadri onto Binnington.
