The 2015 Draft in Florida was historic for a bevy of reasons; Connor McDavid was selected first overall, the top prospects took a trip through the Florida Everglades, and Boston Bruins' GM Don Sweeney three straight first-round picks and did not select Mat Barzal, Kyle Connor, Thomas Chabot, or several others.

That draft lives in infamy for the B's, as they missed out on several game-breaking talents opting for three players with a combined 191 points (176 of which came from Jake DeBrusk). Not great.

Sweeney and Boston's President of Hockey Operations, Cam Neely, have had to answer for that draft for the past seven years, and rightfully so. But Neely has had enough of it, suggesting that everyone makes mistakes and -- aside from the first round of 2015 -- the Bruins have drafted well.

Well, all due respect to Mr. Neely, very few others would concur that the Bruins have drafted well since 2015. According to HockeyProspecting, Boston currently boasts the NHL's 32nd-rated skater-prospect group and the 31st-rated goaltending-prospect group. Hardly indicative of successful drafting, if you ask me.

Cam Neely might not like hearing about his and Sweeney's 2015 draft, but too bad. One of the NHL's most storied franchises is on the verge of crumbling thanks to the poor drafting under Neely and Sweeney. Expect to hear about it from fans, Mr. Neely.
