Following the testimonies yesterday of Hockey Canada's interim board chair Andrea Skinner and former chair Michael Brind'Amour, Hockey Quebec made a major announcement today, splitting ties with Hockey Canada.

Hockey Quebec announced that they have lost confidence in Hockey Canada to enact proper change under its current composition, and as such have elected to halt funds to the organization.
Skinner and Brind'Amour's testimonies were an absolute train wreck, taking no position other than digging in their heels. Considering the subject, very strange behavior.
Excellent, easy-to-follow thready by senior investigative reporter for The Athletic, Katie Strang, detailing yesterday's events:
In response, Justin Trudeau has once again called for new leadership within Canada's governing body for its national sport. Nothing new, Trudeau has taken an outspoken stance on Hockey Canada's indiscretions since day one.
The ground is shaking beneath the feet of Hockey Canada and its leaders. By the looks of it, they are not long for their positions.
