Canadian pop icon Michael Bublé decided to weigh in on the Johnny Gaudreau situation during a stop at Calgary's Saddledome Tuesday night. Bublé, who has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide, bashed Gaudreau with some sarcastic remarks while speaking with the Flames faithful between songs.

"I don't want to play where it's hard. I don't want to win the Stanley Cup," said Bublé, pretending to be Johnny Hockey.

This was, of course, a reference to Gaudreau leaving the Flames as a free agent over the summer, signing a long-term deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Bublé also took some time to poke fun at the Saddledome itself, as well as a new report stating the building required extensive repairs in order to stay up to code.

"All proceeds from the show tonight will go towards new air conditioning for the Saddledome," Bublé said at one point.

Bublé has stated several times that his dream as a child was to become an NHL hockey player. He is part of the ownership group of the Vancouver Giants, who play in the Western Hockey League. Growing up in B.C., his favourite team was the Vancouver Canucks.
