NHL Network unveils list of top-ten goaltenders ahead of the 2022-23 season

As they do every year, the NHL Network unveils a list of the top-ten or top-20 players at every position prior to the start of the new season.

These lists always generate a lot of buzz, with fans across social media giving their input on if a player is too low or too high, or asking where a certain player is.

This weekend, it was time for the goaltending position. Let's take a look at their top-ten goaltenders ahead of the 2022-23 season.

10. Marc-Andre Fleury - Minnesota Wild.
9. Jake Oettinger - Dallas Stars.
8. Frederik Andersen - Carolina Hurricanes.
7. Connor Hellebuyck - Winnipeg Jets.
6. Thatcher Demko - Vancouver Canucks.
5. Ilya Sorokin - New York Islanders.
4. Jacob Markstrom - Calgary Flames.
3. Jusse Saros - Nashville Predators.
2. Igor Shesterkin - New York Rangers.
1. Andrei Vasilevskiy - Tampa Bay Lightning.

There is a lot of talent on that list, including the last four Vezina Trophy winners. But there is still a handful of goaltenders that could be worthy of consideration for this list.
