During Canada's quarter-final win over Switzerland at the World Juniors, Ottawa Senators prospect Ridly Grieg sustained an upper-body injury and didn't play in the semi-finals or gold medal game on Saturday night.

Greig's injury and recovery timeline has now been revealed. According to Senators General Manager Pierre Dorion, Greig has suffered a shoulder separation and will miss three-to-four weeks.

Dorion added that while Greig will miss the Senators' rookie tournament in Buffalo in mid-September, the 20-year-old will be good to go for pre-season games. Ottawa will begin their pre-season schedule on September 24th when they play a double header in Toronto against the Maple Leafs, the first game is set for 2 p.m. ET, second is at 7 p.m. ET.

Greig, a native of Lethbridge (Alberta), had a strong tournament for Canada before his injury. In five games, he put up six points (three goals, three assists), eight penalty minutes and was a plus-two.
