The Philadelphia Flyers continue to stumble through the summer of '22 after making a slew of questionable decisions and really failing to meaningfully improve the team. Head Coach John Tortorella's hiring was a positive step, but otherwise they will basically field the same group who finished bottom-five in the NHL last season.

Things do not seem to be getting any better among the organization's ranks, as they sent out a promotional email to sell tickets and misspelled Travis Sanheim's name:

And before you dunk on me for saying Sanheim is Philly's best player, two things:

1. The Flyers do not employ that many 'good' players
2. If not Sanheim, then who? Kevin Hayes? Travis Konecny? Cam Atkinson? Come on...

Now, as a writer, I have a sense of sympathy for whoever is responsible for that typo. Mistakes happen, and no one should lose their job over failing to remember 'i before e except after c.' Except there is no 'c' in Sanheim...anyway.

Philadelphia sports fans, regardless of which sport, are infamously hardcore, so I would hate to be the guy or girl behind that typo because they are getting absolutely roasted by Flyers fans.

Tough day to be a Philadelphia Flyers social media specialist.

The Flyers aren't quite at 'Chicago Blackhawks' level of organizational despair, but they are close. In a recent poll measuring fan-confidence in their team's management, GM Chuck Fletcher and his staff earned D- scores across the board. How does this guy still have a job?

At least Flyers fans have a sense of humor about it. Instead of being delusional and getting defensive, they have embraced the suck and almost wear it as a badge of honor that they survived the era of Chuck Fletcher.
