The National Hockey League's official uniform provider Adidas will be releasing a second line of Reverse Retro jerseys for the 2022-23 season, with all-new designs for the 32 teams.

For those who aren't familiar with what a Reverse Retro jersey is, here's a bit of a synopsis. The Reverse Retro jerseys are essentially a twist on a teams retro jersey. It could feature an inverted colour scheme with the teams current logo (ex. Montreal in 2021), or it could be a retro logo, on different retro colours (ex. Los Angeles in 2021). It could also be a retro design with a retro logo, but in the teams current colours (ex. Colorado in 2021).

Information on the new designs has been circulating for months, but over the last week, we found out what Vancouver's and Chicago's will look like.

Today, Icethetics released a video on YouTube featuring information that he got from his sources on designs for the Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, San Jose Sharks, Seattle Kraken, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Winnipeg Jets.

Edmonton: Starting with the Edmonton Oilers, which info regarding their jersey has sort of been known for a little while. The Oilers will be wearing a white version of their mid-2000s alternate jersey, with touches of orange added in.

New Jersey: The New Jersey Devils will be going all the way back to the 1970s for inspiration on their Reverse Retro uniform. Sources tell Icethetics that the Devils will be wearing Kansas City Scouts colours/design with their current logo. The Kansas City Scouts were in the National Hockey League from 1974 to 1976 before relocating to Colorado to become the Rockies from 1976 to 1982. In 1982, the Rockies relocated to New Jersey and became the Devils.

New York: Fans of the New York Islanders are going to be excited when they see the return of the Fisherman logo. Yes, the Fisherman logo will be returning as their Reverse Retro with the team's current colour scheme.

San Jose: San Jose will be drawing inspiration for their Reverse Retro jersey from the only other franchise to play in the San Fransisco Bay Area, the California Golden Seals. There isn't a whole lot of info, but the jersey will be based on one of the handful of designs the Golden Seals wore and there is a chance the Sharks will wear white skates, like the Golden Seals did during the 1970-71 season.

Seattle: The NHL's newest franchise doesn't have a whole lot of history, but the city of Seattle does when it comes to professional hockey. Icethetics mentions that, while it would be easy for them to go with a Metropolitans design, they're saving that for a special occasion. Seattle will go back to a franchise that had different names and logos over the years. From the late 1940s to mid 1940s, the franchise was known as the Seattle Ironmen, Seattle Bombers, Seattle Americans and Seattle Totems, while appearing in the PCHL, WHL and CHL.

Tampa Bay: The Lightning will be bringing back their 1990's alternate 'storm' jersey for their Reverse Retro in the Fall. It was worn from 1996 to 1999.

Winnipeg: Hopes of the 1990s logo coming back have been squashed, as Icethetics reveals that the Winnipeg Jets will be wearing their WHA logo once again, with Aviator blue (featured as the base on their alternate jersey from 2018-2021) replacing red. It's unclear if the jersey will have navy or aviator blue as its base, in my opinion, given the navy blue throwback they wear as their third jersey, it's more likely than not they will go with aviator blue.
