Pavel Zacha Traded to Boston Bruins in 1-for-1 Trade
The New Jersey Devils have traded former sixth overall pick, Pavel Zacha to the Boston Bruins in exchange for F Erik Haula:
This is a fairly even deal, as Zacha needs a new contract & the Devils want to throw a large sack of cash at Johnny Gaudreau. But Zacha is objectively the better player.
Haula will likely assume NJ's 3rd line Center role, while Zacha will either slot into Boston's lineup as a top-6 wing, or 3rd line center. Either way, good deal for both sides.
