Josh Manson remaining with the Colorado Avalanche

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Josh Manson is staying with the Colorado Avalanche. Manson has agreed to terms on a four-year contract worth $18 million ($4.5 million AAV). The contract includes a full no-trade clause in the first two years and a modified no-trade clause in the final two years.

Manson, 30, was dealt to the Colorado Avalanche just before the trade deadline in March fromt he Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenceman Drew Helleson and a second round pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

In 22 regular season games with the Avalanche, Manson had seven points (two goals, five assists), twelve penalty minutes and was a minus-eleven. Manson went on to add eight points (three goals, five assists) in 20 games during the playoffs. The Hinsdale (Illinois) native won his first Stanley Cup with Colorado back in June.
