St. Louis Blues Re-Sign Star F Robert Thomas to Massive Extension
With one year left on his current contract, the St. Louis Blues prioritized inking up & coming star, Robert Thomas, to a long-term contract. And they did just that on an otherwise hectic free agency day:
Robert Thomas has scored 164 points in 241 NHL matches (.68 points/game) & 18 points in 45 playoff games. The 2017 20th overall pick has proven to be an excellent draft selection by the Blues, driving play at an elite level & playing prototypical Blues hockey.
If he can figure out how to score at his usual pace in the playoffs, this deal will look like an absolute steal.
