On Tuesday, USA Hockey announced 60 players that will participate in their World Junior Evaluation Camp in late July to early August. Not only will the 60 players be vying for a spot at the rescheduled 2022 World Juniors in Edmonton in mid-August, they'll also be looking to impress USA Hockey management ahead of the 2023 World Juniors in December.

Here are some of the notable names invited to camp in late July.

- Thomas Bordeleau (SJ - 2020 2/38)
- Tyler Boucher (OTT - 2021 1/10)
- Logan Cooley (2022 eligible)
- Matt Coronato (CGY - 2021 1/13)
- Cutter Gauthier (2022 eligible)
- Matthew Knies (TOR - 2021 2/57)
- Chaz Lucius (WPG - 2021 1/18)
- Frank Nazar (2022 eligible)
- Brock Faber (LAK - 2020 2/45)
- Luke Hughes (NJ - 2021 1/4)
- Tyler Kleven (OTT - 2020 2/44)

Among those not invited are Matty Beniers and Jake Sanderson, both of whom are focusing on the 2022-23 NHL season. Chicago Blackhawks goaltending prospect Drew Commesso, who started the United States' lone game at the tournament in December before it was cancelled, was surprisingly not named to the camp roster.

"It's going to be a unique camp as we evaluate players for our National Junior Teams that will be competing in the August and December World Junior Championships," said John Vanbiesbrouck, general manager of the U.S. National Junior Team. "We've got two great coaching staffs assembled, and with the deep player pool we have, there will be tough decisions to be made."

USA Hockey's Evaluation Camp will run from July 24th to August 3rd with the 2022 World Junior roster being named on the final day. The rescheduled 2022 World Juniors are set to kick-off on August 9th in Edmonton with the Americans in a group alongside Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
