After a dangerous cross-check from Evander Kane, Nazem Kadri left Game 3 with an upper-body injury. The extent of the injury was unknown, but Head Coach Jared Bednar confirmed he's out for at least this series, probably longer. He also called it the dirtiest play in hockey.

This morning Irfan Gaffar of NHL.com reported that Kadri left Rogers Place last night with a cast on his right arm.

Kane was assessed a five-minute boarding major on the play, no game misconduct. When asked about it, Kane gave an interesting answer:

Kane will have a hearing with NHL's Department of Player Safety, leaving the window for suspension open.
