Darnell Nurse of the Edmonton Oilers was forced to sit out game 6 of his team's opening round series against the LA Kings after a headbutt on Phil Danault. Nurse returns for game 7, which is good news for Edmonton. As for the move that earned him a one-game suspension, Nurse insists there was no intent.

"I didn't intend to hit a guy in the head," said Nurse. "There was no intent on my part."

It was noted that Nurse respects the decision by the NHL's Department of Player Safety, despite his insistence that it was an accident.

It's tough to agree with Nurse's take on this one. If he wasn't trying to headbutt Danault, I'm not sure what he was attempting to do there.
