After sustaining a hit to the head and missing Game 6, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby returned to practice with his team this morning. He is not wearing a "no-contact" jersey, but Mike Sullivan alluded earlier in the playoffs that the team has not been having contact practices in the post-season.

Emily Kaplan reported what many have suspected about the nature of the injury - concussion.

Crosby has quite a history with concussions, missing significant time earlier in his career following a hit to the head in the original Winter Classic event.

Crosby's exit from Game 5 has been the turning point in the series thus far. After his departure, the team blew a 2-0 lead to lose Game 5 by a score of 5-3. Then, the team dropped Game 6 in Pittsburgh, again losing 5-3.

The Penguins and Rangers will play the winner-take-all Game 7 tomorrow evening in New York City at 7pm EST.
