Montreal Canadiens Win First Overall Pick in 2022 NHL Entry Draft

The NHL's Draft Lottery concluded today, and there was a major surprise at the finish:

10) Anaheim Ducks

12) Columbus Blue Jackets
13) New York Islanders
14) Winnipeg Jets
15) Vancouver Canucks
16) Buffalo Sabres

The New Jersey Devils made the largest jump, and their draft lottery luck continues. They've jumped up two or more spots three times since 2017, when they drafted Nico Hischier.

But the story the lottery is that the Montreal Canadiens win the 1st Overall Pick. Looks like all Habs fans have been rewarded for enduring the past season. Very exciting.
