Despite being chased the last two games in their opening round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers head coach Gerard Gallant has already told reporters that Igor Shesterkin will get the start in game five. Gallant said he has no plans to make any changes in net.

"He's the best goalie in the league, so I'm gonna go with him," said Gallant.

Pittsburgh has been all over the Rangers the last two games, winning 7-2 and 7-4. Gallant blames the team rather than the person between the pipes.

"Played soft. We were soft all over the ice. That's the biggest difference, we were soft all over the ice," said Gallant after the Penguins toook a 3-1 lead in the series.

"There wasn't much commitment to playing defense tonight," he added.

New York and Gallant will have to figure things out quickly now that their backs are against the wall. Game five goes Wednesday.
