Currently an assistant coach with the Boston Bruins, Jay Pandolfo will take over as Head Coach for BU Hockey:

Pandolfo's storied career started as a Terrier, having served as the team's Captain for the '95-96 team. A team that featured Chris Drury, Shawn Bates, Mike Grier, & Current Nashville Predators' Head Coach John Hynes. Also, on the team was Travis Roy, who played one game before sustaining a career-ending neck injury. His story is very inspirational, if you have seven minutes it's a good watch:

Boston University stands as a pillar of US college hockey & recently hasn't seen the success one might expect from the program. Pandolfo brings with him one NCAA National Championship, two Stanley Cups, & five years of NHL coaching experience to the Terriers' locker room. A betting man might expect a return to prominence for the BU Terriers in the next few years.
