With yet another disappointing season in the books, the Winnipeg Jets need change. The tricky part is navigating the intensely competitive landscape that is the NHL is that Winnipeg is a supremely undesirable destination for NHLers.

High taxes, poor weather, and rumors of a somewhat toxic locker room will have that effect. It's these considerable hurdles that make GM Kevin Cheveldayoff's job that much harder to clear. In attempt to reshape the Jets' culture, it appears the team's coaching staff will be completely overhauled:

Earlier this season, longtime bench boss Paul Maurice stepped down from his post, citing both burnout & team morale. The Jets have a lot of questions to find answers to this summer, and it's quite possible the makeup of their team looks much different at the start of next season.
