The Vegas Golden Knights announced on Saturday afternoon that they've agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with 2020 first round pick, Brendan Brisson. The contract will begin next season and run through the 2024-25 campaign.

Brisson, 20, spent the 2021-22 season in the NCAA with the University of Michigan where he put up 42 points (21 goals, 21 assists), 32 penalty minutes, and was a plus-17 in 38 games.

Following the conclusion of his season at Michigan, Brisson signed a tryout contract with Vegas' American Hockey League affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. In six games so far with Henderson, Brisson has tallied eight points (three goals, five assists), four penalty minutes, and has an even rating.

The Manhattan Beach (California) native caught the eye of USA Hockey earlier this year due to his strong play at Michigan. With the NHL opting not to go to Beijing for the 2022 Olympics, Brisson was named to the United States' final roster. In four games, he had two goals and two penalty minutes as the U.S. bowed out in the quarter-finals at the hands of Slovakia.
