On Sunday afternoon, defenceman Robert Hagg was able to suit up with the Florida Panthers against his former team in the Buffalo Sabres.

Hagg, 27, was moved at the deadline by the Sabres in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2022. Prior to Sunday's game against his former team, he had an on-ice interview and gave a hilarious response when asked about his friends on the other side.

"I don't have any friends," Hagg responded to Bally Sports' Katie Gaus.

While Hagg was all jokes before the game, he came ready to play in this one, helping his Panthers team pick up a 5-3 win. He was able to go plus1 on the night, while also recording three hits and a single shot block. Though he is by no means a star player, he adds depth to a team that is a legitimate Stanley Cup contender this season.
