The lone goal in a blowout loss at the hands of the Boston Bruins, Jack Hughes scored an absolute beauty. After a phenomenal individual effort from Devils' Captain Nico Hischier to fight off the defender & make a desperation play to find Hughes, the 20 year-old phenom pulled off a magical shot.

Picking top corner where there was room enough for one single hockey puck, but not much else. The shot seemed impossible, however, when dealing with players like Hughes that word carries little meaning. He seems to make electricity out of thin air every time the Devils play, and his production level is historic for U21 players in the NHL. Goalie Linus Ullmark was awestruck by the goal, and it's hard to blame him. He did everything he was supposed to short of applying a generous coat of Flex-Seal on the intersection of the crossbar & the goalpost.
