The Montreal Canadiens have announced that they've agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract worth $1.5 million ($750,000 AAV) with top defensive prospect, Jordan Harris.

Harris' NCAA career came to an end on Friday afternoon after his school, Northeastern, lost in overtime of the semi-finals of the Northeast Region playoffs to Western Michigan.

In 39 games this season, the 21-year-old had 20 points (five goals, fifteen assists), fourteen penalty minutes, and was a plus-eleven.

The Haverhill, Massachusetts native is expected to join the Canadiens at some point over the next week, with the team adding that he'll wear number 54.
