Harris' NCAA career came to an end on Friday afternoon after his school, Northeastern, lost in overtime of the semi-finals of the Northeast Region playoffs to Western Michigan.
In 39 games this season, the 21-year-old had 20 points (five goals, fifteen assists), fourteen penalty minutes, and was a plus-eleven.
The Haverhill, Massachusetts native is expected to join the Canadiens at some point over the next week, with the team adding that he'll wear number 54.
The Canadiens have agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract with defenseman Jordan Harris (2021-22 to 2022-23). #GoHabsGo https://t.co/w6E1wEADxF— Canadiens Montréal (@CanadiensMTL) March 26, 2022
