The Boston Bruins have picked up a major piece in advance of the NHL trade deadline. According to reports, The Bs have managed to get defenceman Hampus Lindholm from the Anaheim Ducks. At the same time, the reported return to the Ducks is a big one.

"Trade call has not happened yet so nothing officially done, but sounds like a big haul for the Ducks in exchange for Hampus Lindholm if the deal goes through with Boston: a 1st-Rd pick this year, 2nd RD pick in 23, 2nd RD pick in 24 plus young roster player," said TSN's Pierre LeBrun.

The roster player is Urho Vaakanainen.

"In addition to retaining 50% on Lindholm, #NHLDucks are also taking on D John Moore's contract as part of the deal. That's why there is an extra 2nd round pick in there," said Frank Seravalli.

Lindholm has five goals and 22 points in 61 games this season. At six-foot-four, 216 lbs, Lindholm is a great addition to the blueline of any team looking to make a run in the playoffs.
