Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Hagel is on the move. According to Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff, the Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired Hagel, two fourth round picks in exchange for two first round picks, Taylor Raddysh and Boris Katchouk.

Hagel, 23, was signed as a free agent by the Blackhawks back in October 2018. He's played in parts of three seasons with them, but is having an outstanding campaign this year. In 55 games with Chicago, Hagel has 37 points (21 G, 16 A), 23 penalty minutes, and is a -14.

The Saskatoon (Saskatchewan) native is in the first-year of a three-year contract where he's making $1.5 million AAV. He'll become a restricted free agent following the 2023-24 season and eligible for arbitration.

Raddysh, 24, has twelve points (five goals, seven assists) in 55 games with the Lightning this season, while Katchouk, 23, has six points (two goals, four assists) in 38 games.
