Some hockey players have done terrible things. Some have gone to prison, and others have faced other major consequences.

This may be the first time a player has been arrested during a game, however.

New Hampshire Defenseman Arrested During Intermission

During yesterday's game between the Johnstown Tomahawks and the New Hampshire Mountain Kings, defenseman Yahor Ramanau was arrested for crimes with a vehicle.

This arrest took place during the first intermission, and he did not return to the game.

During the first intermission of Sunday's NAHL game at the Johnstown Tomahawks, New Hampshire Mountain Kings defenseman Yahor Ramanau was removed from 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial and arrested by Johnstown Police due to an outstanding warrant in New Kensington, according to the Tomahawks front office.

The warrant was issued two years ago when the 20-year-old Belarus native played for the Esmark Stars in Pittsburgh. He was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle.

These crimes took place while he was playing in Pittsburgh, and he has now been apprehended.

Ramanau's team went on to lose 2-1. It's safe to say he'll need some extra defense off the ice now!
