BREAKING: Leafs Can Controversial Goal Song After Only One Game

Some Leafs fans were surprised at their home opener when they did not hear Hall & Oates blaring at Scotiabank Arena. Instead they heard Kid Kudi's "Pursuit Of Happiness." Those few fans that were in attendance got a unique treat as it is no being reported that the Leafs will not use the song again.

Leafs Can Pursuit Of Happiness

Nick Alberga, host of Leafs Morning Take reported on X tonight that the Leafs will not be using the Kid Kudi song anymore after the team received complaints.

Don't expect to hear «Pursuit of Happiness» as the goal song for #LeafsForever games anymore. Told they won't be using it any longer this season.

Heard the Leafs received some complaints about the song's message and/or lyrics.

Nick also noted that "Dup Dup," which was used tonight, will be part of the goal song rotation going forward.

Also, «Dup Dup,» tonight's anthem, will be part of the goal song rotation moving forward.
