We're not even two full games into the Montreal Canadiens 2023-24 season, but the injuries are already starting. While hopes were high coming into tonight's game against Chicago, it seems as though the mood has fallen following an injury to one of Montreal's bright young centers.

Dach Goes Down

The Canadiens may be winning their game against the Blackhawks right now, but they may have suffered an even bigger loss. The team announced earlier tonight that Kirby Dach would not return following an injury he suffered in the 1st period.

Forward Kirby Dach will not return to tonight's game (lower body).

The injury came following a hit from Jarred Tinordi, which sent Dach flying into the bench of his former team.

Dach appeared to be limping after the hit and did not return for the second period. The team then announced that he would not return tonight.

Hopefully, the injury isn't too serious!
