Hi everyone,
I’ve been following how NHL teams manage their cap space, especially when they’re in the middle of a rebuild. Some teams seem to take on bad contracts in exchange for assets, while others stay as flexible as possible to sign key players when the time is right. What’s the better approach during a rebuild? Should a team focus on weaponizing their cap space to collect picks and prospects, or is it smarter to maintain flexibility for future signings? Are there examples where one method clearly worked better than the other? level devil 2 I’d love to hear your thoughts and any real-life examples of teams that handled their cap space brilliantly (or poorly) during a rebuild. Let’s discuss! |
