The Vancouver Canucks will likely be looking at using an emergency backup goalie on Sunday night.

The Athletic's Thomas Drance reported that Spencer Matin also tested Positive for COVID-19 on a rapid test on Saturday.

Along with this, Arturs Silovs, Jaroslav Halak, and Thatcher Demko have all tested positive. In fact, Halak is dealing with some border issues relating to the virus, and he is yet to return to Vancouver.

Michael DiPietro will be starting for the team tonight versus the St. Louis Blues. The team will be using UBC goalie Rylan Toth as their emergency backup goalie. Toth has been known to be a regular NHL EBUG for multiple seasons now.
