Hockey Canada will officially name their 2022 Winter Olympic roster on Tuesday, but on Sunday, TSN's Darren Dreger revealed the three goaltenders that will be wearing the Maple Leaf on their chest in a few weeks time.

"Levi, Pasquale and Tomkins will handle goaltending for Team Canada at the Olympics," Dreger said on Sunday.

Devon Levi, 20, represented Canada at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, winning the silver medal, and was named the tournament's best goaltender. The Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec native was selected by the Florida Panthers in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Levi is currently playing for Northeastern University (NCAA). In 24 games, he has a record of 16-7-1 with a 1.55 G.A.A., a .948 save percentage and nine shutouts.

Eddie Pasquale, 31, is currently in his third year in the KHL and second season with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. In 38 games this season, he's 19-16-3 with a 1.99 G.A.A., a .916 save percentage and has one shutout. Of Canada's three goaltenders, Pasquale is the only one with NHL experience, playing in three games with the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2018-19 season.

Matt Tomkins, 27, is in his first year of European hockey after spending the last four seasons between the AHL and ECHL. He's playing for Frolunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League and has been solid. In 23 games, Tomkins has a record of 14-8-0 with a 2.32 G.A.A., a .913 save percentage and two shutouts.

Darren Dreger also clarified the status/role of Columbus Blue Jackets 2021 first round pick Kent Johnson. Johnson will be with the Canadian team, but as an alternate.

"Also, clarification on Kent Johnson. Johnson is listed as an alternate going into camp, but could make the team if there's an injury or Covid hits," Dreger said.

Johnson, 19, is having a great season with the University of Michigan (NCAA). In 23 games, he's put up 30 points (6 G, 24 A), 6 penalty minutes and is a +21.

Canada will open their 2022 Winter Olympic tournament on Thursday, February 10th at 8:10am ET against Germany.
