The National Hockey League has reportedly postponed tonight's Buffalo Sabres game against the Columbus Blue Jackets according to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.

"Alex Tuch's Sabres debut will have to wait. Buffalo's game against Columbus has been postponed, per sources. Expecting official announcement shortly," Lysowski said in a tweet.

Three Blue Jackets players entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocol on Sunday. Those players were captain Boone Jenner, forward Jack Roslovic and defenseman Gabriel Carlsson. Columbus decided not to fly to Buffalo and held their morning skate at home on Monday.

As Lysowski mentioned, tonight's game was supposed to be Alex Tuch's Buffalo Sabres debut. Tuch, a native of Syracuse, New York, grew up a Sabres fan and was dealt to the team back in early-November as apart of the Jack Eichel trade.

The Sabres and Blue Jackets were scheduled to play at 7pm ET tonight at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. Both teams will be back in action on Thursday night when they face-off against each other in Columbus.
