Flyers forward Kevin Hayes suffers reinjury

Philadelphia Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault announced on Monday that forward Kevin Hayes has suffered a reinjury and will be out week-to-week.

"Injury update: Per AV, Flyers forward Kevin Hayes suffered a re-injury vs. Calgary on Nov. 16 and is considered week-to-week," the Flyers said via their Twitter account.

Hayes, 29, had abdominal surgery in September and missed the start of the 2021-22 season. He returned to the Flyers lineup on November 13th against the Dallas Stars. In two games this season, the Dorchester, Massachusetts native has two points (one goal, one assist), and two penalty minutes.
