During his pre-game media availablity, Montreal Canadiens head coach Dominique Ducharme gave several updates on his players including Jake Allen, Jonathan Drouin, and Mike Hoffman, all of whom will miss tonight's game in Boston.

Jake Allen is currently day-to-day after having Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin pushed into him by defenceman Jeff Petry last night. Allen would leave Saturday night's game near the end of the first period and did not return, with Samuel Montembeault taking over for the remainder of the game.

Following Saturday's game, the Canadiens announced that Cayden Primeau was being called up from the Laval Rocket. There was some speculation that Primeau may get the start on Sunday night, but Ducharme said that it will be Montembeault who will be between the pipes.

As for Jonathan Drouin, he'll miss his sixth consecutive game after he was struck in the head with a puck on November 2nd vs Detroit.

Ducharme announced that forward Mike Hoffman will also be out of the lineup tonight. Hoffman is dealing with an upper-body injury and is day-to-day. Adam Brooks will draw in for Hoffman, while Ryan Poehling will move to the wing and play on a line with Christian Dvorak and Brendan Gallagher.

Puck drop for tonight's game between the Canadiens and Bruins is set for 7pm ET on TSN2 and RDS.
