It was yet another busy day on the waiver wire as teams prepare their rosters for the 2021-22 season, which begins in exactly one week. In total, fourteen players were placed on waivers on Tuesday, and one player from yesterday's batch was claimed.

"Placed on NHL waivers today: Charles Robinson (ANA), Bokondji Imama (ARI), Cameron Hughes (BOS), Joona Koppanen (BOS), Tyler Lewington (BOS), Ryan MacInnis (BUF), Sean Malone (BUF), Ethan Prow (BUF), Brett Connolly (CHI), Joseph Gambardella (NJ), Michael Hutchinson (TOR), Brian Pinho (WSH), Michael Sgarbossa (WSH) and Michael Vecchione (WSH)." TSN's Chris Johnson said in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

Johnston went on to add that the Minnesota Wild have claimed Rem Pitlick off waivers from the Nashville Predators. Pitlick, 24, played ten games for Nashville during the 2020-21 season, tallying two assists, four penalty minutes, and was a plus-three.
