Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner has been on a tirade on Twitter this weekend, topping it off with some hefty accusations on Saturday night. Lehner claimed he had proof of NHL teams handing out medications such as benzodiazepines and Ambien to players seemingly without a doctor involved.

While Lehner has played for a few teams over the years, he singled out one specific team with these allegations, stating he has proof. Oddly, it's not one of the cities he's played for. Here are the screenshots, with the links to the Tweets included at the end. Ambien is a brand of medication often used to fight sleep issues, but can also be prescribed for those unconformable with flying. Benzodiazepines come in a few forms, with the popular brand names being Xanax, Valium, Ativan, Serax, and Centrax.

Before signing off for the night, Lehner made sure to tag both the NHL and the NHLPA in his Tweet thread, and added "truth starts tomorrow" (Sunday) if "things don't get fixed."

Lehner has been open about his own mental health struggles over the years, as well as battles with drugs and alcohol. If he's pointing the finger at the Flyers, it's possible it's knowledge he gained through someone he knows who plays, or has played on the team. Earlier this weekend, Lehner went off on the Buffalo Sabres, calling them out for not allowing Jack Eichel to get the surgery he wants. You can read about that here.
