In a video posted to Twitter yesterday, Maroon surprised a junior hockey team prior to their game and read out the team's starting lineup. His big and fun loving personality was on clear display while doing it, and the players were loving every second of it. This is just another example of how awesome the man referred to as 'The Big Rig' is.
As mentioned, Maroon is coming off of three Stanley Cup victories. His first came in 2019 with the St. Louis Blues, and the next two with the Tampa Bay Lightning. While he doesn't contribute offensively to those teams like he did with the Edmonton Oilers, he has still been very pivotal to his team's success in a bottom-six role.
