After spending the last nine seasons with the Minnesota Wild, Ryan Suter might be wearing another green jersey in the fall. According to Saad Yousuf of The Athletic, the Dallas Stars are quite interested in signing Ryan Suter.

"Non-draft Stars note: This has been a developing situation but multiple sources tell The Athletic that the Stars are digging in on the pursuit of Ryan Suter. There is interest on both sides." Yousuf said in a tweet on Saturday afternoon.

As mentioned, Suter spent the last nine years in Minnesota, but the team decided it was time to go in a new direction and bought out the remaining four years of his contract. Suter is now an unrestricted free agent and allowed to sign with any team.

The 36-year-old had the worst statistical year of his career since his rookie season in 2005-06. Suter played in all 56 games during the regular season for the Wild where he tallied 19 points (3 G, 16 A), 12 penalty minutes, and was a +9.
