Rangers trade Pavel Buchnevich to St. Louis

The trades continue to come in on Friday as Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet is reporting that the St. Louis Blues have added forward Pavel Buchnevich from the New York Rangers in exchange for forward Sammy Blais and a 2022 second round pick.

Buchnevich, 26, set a career high in points during the 2020-21 season. In 54 games, he had 48 points (20 G, 28 A), 42 penalty minutes, and was a +12.

Blais, 25, played in only 36 games for the Blues this season, where he had 15 points (8 G, 7 A), 12 penalty minutes, and was a +/-0.
