The New York Rangers are getting ready to face off against the Montreal Canadiens this Tuesday, but not before a night out on the town with the squad.

Montreal is a great city to visit. Amazing bars, nice people, very fun nightlife. It seems that the New York Rangers wanted to find out just how fun the city can be for themselves. They were spotted at some of the towns' most well known places, such at La Voute, a nightclub, and Terrasse Carla, a restaurant.

Montreal has a reputation around the NHL for being a great location to be the visiting team, similar to Toronto's reputation in the NBA for being a noteworthy town to visit. Seems Canada has made quite a name for itself to its neighbors down south. Maybe the team went out for their rookie dinner? They wouldn't be the first to do so in the city.

The Rangers, who are reportedly close to signing Alexis Lafreniere to a contract extension, didn't come to the city just to go out. They face the Canadiens Tuesday night, as they hope to continue their great start to the season, winning 4 out their 5 games played, as well as a smashing 4-1 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Surely, this momentum as well as a night out on the town will make for quite an atmosphere in the locker room for head coach Peter Laviolette to manage.

Their matchup against the Canadiens, who have called up Logan Mailloux to help with the teams' ever-growing injury problems,, will surely prove to be eventful.

Will the Rangers keep their great start to the season going? Or will home-court advantage prove to be enough for the Habs?
