Hockey has and will always be a very tough sport to play, and while the fighting has diminished in recent years, we still get very cool moments like this.
The NHL season is now in full swing, and with so much happening it's hard to keep up with all the action, with the American Hockey League providing just as much entertainment for fans. On Friday we saw that tenfold, as Vincent Arsenau of the Laval Rocket decided to drop the gloves against an opponent of the Syracuse Crunch, in what was a very good fight.
However, it was what happened after the fight that has drawn attention all over social media, with the 32-year old veteran seemingly broke his fingers during the fight, before shortly after simply snapping them back into place.

This was a moment of pure violence in a sport that is seemingly going away from that style, and given how much experience the veteran forward has in fighting, it's safe to say that it's not the first time something like this has happened. In his AHL career, Arseneau has played in over 200 games dating back to 2012, and while he's not yet cracked the NHL, it's safe to say that he's been one of the more entertaining players in the AHL over that time.
As we've seen in recent years, fighting is much more aggressive in the AHL, with players fighting for their professional careers and a chance at the NHL level, so unsurprisingly, the fight leading into this moment was a brutal one.

This isn't going to get either player to the NHL anytime soon, but the crowd in attendance certainly appreciated the moment with a video emerging that will no doubt go all over social media in the aftermath.
