The St. Louis Blues have just made a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and immediately after this they have two offer sheets two Oilers players.

Beginning with the trade, the Pittsburgh Penguins sent a 2025 2nd round pick and a 2026 5th round pick to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a 2026 2nd round pick and a 2025 3rd round pick.
Immediately after news broke of this trade, the St. Louis Blues then submitted an offer sheet for not one, but two Oilers players, those being Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway, who have still not been signed by the Edmonton Oilers and remained restricted free agents (RFA).
Dylan Holloway played in 38 games with the Edmonton Oilers last season and picked up a total of six goals and three assists.
Philip Broberg played only 12 games with the Oilers last year and did not score a single goal and only managed two assists.
