Jordan Chiles was recently stripped of her medal at the Olympics due to her protest having been submitted four seconds too late. Her sister blames biases.

Jordan Chiles, prominent American gymnast, is about to have her bronze medal stripped from her that she just won at the Paris Olympics. Chiles' sister Jazmin is fuming and believes racism is to blame for this.
«Please keep Jordan (and my family) in your prayers,» she began. «Racism is real, it exists, it is alive and well. They have officially, 5 days later, stripped her of one of her medals. Not because she didn't win, not because she was drugged, not because she stepped out of bounds,» Jazmin continued. «Not because she wasn't good enough. But because the judges failed to give her difficulty and forced an inquiry to be made.»
Jordan Chiles was the last athlete to compete in the event Monday night, and had initially received a score of 13.666. That score put her behind Barbosu and Maneca-Voinea, who both earned scores of 13.700. However, a protest was submitted and Chiles' score was adjusted to 13.766, which had then put her ahead.
The reason her score was initially increased was because her coach Cecile Landi mentioned that due to the level of difficulty, she should have received 0.1 points extra, to which the judges agreed. Now, they are saying that the protest was filed four seconds too late, so they are going to have to reverse the score back to 13.666, hence stripping her of her bronze medal. Her sister Jazmin says that had the judges done their job properly and given the 0.1 for difficulty, a protest would never had to have been filed anyways and Jordan Chiles would have her bronze now, fair and square.
Jordan Chiles is now dealing with major mental health issues after this roller coaster of a ride, and recently issued a heartbreaking post on her 24-hour Instagram story.
«I am taking this time and removing myself from social media for my mental health thank you.»

Jazmin is going to continue the fight for her sister and is demanding justice and won't stop until changes are made.
«Just so y'all aware - In the HISTORY of the Olympics NO ONE has ever been stripped of their medal for this. Also- there are only TWO ways you can be stripped of a medal. Cheating or doping. She did neither."

- Jazmin
