Corey Perry has been on the losing side of the Stanley Cup Finals many times in his career, and after recent footage surfaced, he's the butt of the joke once more.

Getting to the Stanley Cup Finals is something that not many players in NHL history get to experience more than once, but for Corey Perry, that's not the case. After winning with the Ducks back in 2007, Perry has featured in the Cup Finals three times since (2020 with Montreal, 2022 with Tampa Bay and 2024 with Edmonton), unfortunately coming up short on each and every occasion.
Now, footage has emerged of the Oilers locker room after their Game 7 defeat in Florida, and while many sympathized with the tough situation for the Oilers, other fans took to flaming Corey Perry once more.
The 39-year old is back again in Edmonton for the 2024/25 season, with the team heavily favoured to go all the way after another disappointing finish in 2024, but with Perry on board, are they officially cursed? It's tough to say, but with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, optimism is high, and if they lose this season, it's safe to say that Perry may go down as one of the most unlucky players in NHL history.
