Major League Hockey was announced to much fan fare a while ago, but as many suspected, they've now been exposed as a major scam.

Hockey has grown in popularity in recent years, so when a new, exciting league set to debut in the fall was announced, fans were incredibly excited. Unfortunately, it quickly went from excitement to worry, as it became more and more clear that Major League Hockey was a scam, boasting a $30 million salary cap that seemingly wasn't going to work.
Now, the league has been called out on social media ahead of their inaugural season, and it's safe to say that if anyone believed it wasn't a scam, that won't be the case anymore.
This is laughably insane & unprofessional

Running paid tryout camps in a league with a supposed 30 Million salary camp and you get refunded 50% if you make the team but you get free snacks!

I can't believe this is still alive!
According to the latest update, MLH is running paid tryouts for their $30 million league, but people trying out will get just half their money back... only if they make the team. This is another red flag for a league that has been full of them since the beginning, and at this point, many people would be absolutely shocked if the league even went ahead.
