Don Waddell leaks he is in trade negotiations with a division rival
Don Waddell of the Columbus Blue Jackets has leaked information that he is on the verge of a major trade, with all signs pointing to it being Patrik Laine.
Don Waddell recently said that Eric Tulsky would be taking over as team GM, however Waddell was the one to break the news on social media X that a trade was on the verge of happening. No specific details were given about which player was involved, however all signs point to it being Patrik Laine. There have been an endless amount of rumors circulating recently that Laine was the player that the Blue Jackets were working hard to trade.
Waddell also endorsed Tulsky, who took over as general manager.
