Philadelphia Flyers' top goalie prospect Aleksei Kolosov has abandoned his team by not showing up to camp. He claims to have overslept and missed his flight.

Aleksei Kolosov was due to arrive in North America to participate in the Flyers' annual development camp, which took place from July 2 to July 6. He claims to have accidentally overslept, which caused him to miss his flight, and now appears to have demanded that his NHL contract be terminated, as he no longer wants anything to do with the Flyers.
«Aleksei Kolosov is the strangest guy. Sign a rookie contract to run home in a couple of months and refuse to return to the location Philadelphia is, of course, the upside of infantilism,» wrote Bogun. «I heard that the goalkeeper has already asked the management of Minsk to do everything to help solve the issue of termination of the contract in the NHL. The funny thing is that he was supposed to fly to Pennsylvania on June 20, according to the tickets purchased by the Flyers, but ‘completely by chance' overslept the flight and stayed in Belarus.

With just under two months to go before players are expected to report to training camp, things are not looking that great in terms of ever seeing Kolosov don a Flyers jersey again, especially after he was seen working out with Dinamo-Minsk in Russia.
