Evander Kane furious after comedian roasts the Edmonton Oilers
During the ESPYS on ESPN, comedian Nikki Glaser began to roast the Edmonton Oilers and Connor McDavid, and Evander Kane was furious.
The wounds are still sore for the Edmonton Oilers, only weeks removed from losing a heartbreak game 7 Stanley Cup game to the Florida Panthers, but that didn't stop comedian Nikki Glaser from throwing more salt in those wounds. She began to bash Connor McDavid and the Oilers for their performance, and Evander Kane looked even more angry than he does on the ice during NHL games.
Kane took exception to that roast, staring right into the eyes of Glaser, with such anger that he would have received a game misconduct just for the amount of fear that he must have instilled in her. This isn't the first time Glaser roasts athletes, as she was seen bewildering more of them on Netflix's recent show, the Tom Brady Roast.
"Tom hates fat. Do you know about his diet program? It is so strict, but if you follow it exactly as he does, you too can lose ... your family."
McDavid has already faced his fair share of heartbreak over the last few weeks, and this is yet another blow to his character. Luckily for him, Kane has expressed interest to remain in Edmonton, so hopefully he and Connor can have another crack at the Cup, and enjoy shoving it right back into Glaser's face.
